Monogamists Slay Millions

Monogamists murdered over 17,000 Americans last year and well over 300,000 people around the world. Practitioners of various sects of monogamy have left a wake of blood and violence throughout history. Monogamists such as Stalin to Hitler to Mao, have literally slain hundreds of millions of people.

What is behind this Monogamist reign of terror?

Now, this is not a joke. The fact is, 99 percent of all crimes committed in America are committed by self professing monogamists! The first murderer, Cain, is said to have been a monogamist. So why is it that when you search the headlines on polygamy that everything you read is negative? It's because Americans hate polygamists and that anti-polygamist bigotry runs deep. It motivates the monogamists to put polygamists in jail for heterosexual sex between consenting adults if those consenting adults happen to be polygamists who have proclaimed themselves to have been married. Monogamists say: "polygamy bad" "fornication good." Homosexuals and lesbians are placed on a pedestal. Pardons for notorious homosexual pedophiles are praised while polygamists are condemned.

What is widely held to be true is usually Satan's lie and the false doctrine of monogamy is Satan's biggest whopper. Hundreds of thousands of African women have been abandoned by their husbands at the request of "Christian" missionaries and this still happens today! I have received letters with horror stories of how monogamist missionaries have advised polygamists to abandon their extra wives to what would undoubtedly be a life of poverty and disease. Households are destroyed, livelihoods are ruined, and dreams are shattered, all for the false doctrine of monogamy. And the biggest lie is that African polygamy spreads AIDS! Please, somebody tell me how a man can get AIDS by having sex with his wives who have never slept with anyone but him!

As Christians, we are not called to lie. Stop it now. Stop it. Stop lying. Get your facts right and here is the most important fact:

Jesus was and IS the Messiah.

The Messiah, in order to have been truly the Messiah must have legitimately descended from the Kings of Israel according to all sound Bible doctrine. If polygamy is not legitimate then those Kings who were sons of polygamists would have been b_st_rds and Jesus claim to the throne would have been illegitimate and he could not have been the Messiah BUT JESUS WAS and IS the Messiah, praise His Name! Therefore, any argument that uses any fact or doctrine from the Old Testament to claim that polygamy is forbidden is an invalid argument for to claim that polygamy can be invalidated by an Old Testament doctrine is to claim that Jesus is not legitimate! Therefore, when you say, "why didn't God create more than one Eve" you are claiming that Jesus was illegitimate because you are claiming through the use of an Old Testament verse that polygamy was not legitimate.

Now, if you use any New Testament verse to claim polygamy is not legitimate then you must not use any of the words spoken by Jesus for Jesus' discussion on marriage always used Old Testament exegesis to make His point (except of course for Jesus' parable about the five women who went into the marriage chamber to become brides of a polygamist.

So let's continue now that we've accepted that the Old Testament cannot be taken to be against polygamy or Jesus Himself would be illegitimate and not the Heir to the throne of David. We're left with what in terms of a New Testament argument against polygamy? We're left with the New Testament minus all verses that reference the Old Testament and that is a very small portion of the New Testament indeed, for all of the writers of the New Testament rested their arguments upon quotes from the Old Testament. But in order to make this as simple as possible let's do this. Let's put forth the claim that there is a New Testament verse that forbids polygamy, a new law. If that is true then we must consider this;

the law that was nailed to the cross was that law that existed during Jesus ministry and as we have discussed, that law could not have included anything against polygamy. So if after Jesus was crucified we have a new law against polygamy, answer this:

On which cross was any proclaimed new law nailed to since that was not the law that was nailed to the cross of Jesus? The law that was nailed to the cross of Jesus was the law of the Old Testament and that could not have declared polygamy a sin for that would have made Jesus our Messiah illegitimate. Now maybe some of the anti-semites among you would like this to be true but it is not. Jesus is our Messiah, He is not a mamzer, and therefore polygamy is not against the Bible. Polygamy cannot be against the Bible for any anti-polygamy law would have been a post crucifiction law of which there are none for Jesus died for those ordinances already written:

"Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;"
Colossians 2:14

So therefore there could be no new law banning polygamy for these are the "the commandments and doctrines of men."
Colossians 2:22b

Less than 1 percent of the people in prison are polygamists. Those of you who hate polygamists and who continue to slander them will remain in my prayers.

The following addresses the comment to this post:

The system would not allow me to put the b word for illegitimate. The usage of legitimate in this post concerned sexual legitimacy, as in a child that is a b_st_rd is illegitimate.
The issue of Bathsheba that came from King David's adultery was not even referred to as a son. That death was King David's punishment for the adultery. There is no case of any king of Israel who had a b_st_rd son (as defined by the Bible) who ascended to the throne. That is the usage of illegitmate that I expected the reader to understand from the context of my article. It will be corrected shortly so that others will not misunderstand as you have. Bathsheba was not an adulteress. She had no power to refuse the king. Bathsheba's husband was murdered by David and after the issue of that adultery was killed by God, David took Bathsheba as his wife.
Lot did not commit incest for his relationship with his daughters came before the Law.
Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Ruth was a believer. Have you not even heard of Ruth's fantastic loyalty to Jews and Yaweh?
Ruth 1:16  And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, [or] to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people [shall be] my people, and thy God my God:
Ruth chose to remain loyal to the God of Naomi and that was Yaweh, the God of Israel. She clearly stated that she chose Naomi's people as well. In fact, this was so clear, that when Boaz bought the land he also took over the responsibility of providing an heir for Ruth's deceased husband.
Deuteronomy 25:7 And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother.
Ruth 4:5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy [it] also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
None of this activity was done secretly. It was an open meeting between Boaz the man most closely related to Naomi. That man forfeited his right to buy the land because he did not want the responsibility of Ruth (a Jew by conversion prior to her marriage to Mahlon) along with the land.
Ruth 4:10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye [are] witnesses this day.
This is a quite wonderful story of dedication to the Lord. A Moabitess who becomes a Jew, marries a Jew, is widowed by a Jew, and remains loyal to both the Jews and to Yahweh. She even gets to marry a rich landowner!
